Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective: 19 July 2026Last updated: 19 July 2026Applies to: ansysdigital.com & all services

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how payments, deposits, cancellations and refunds work for Ansys Digital services. Because our work is custom, time-based and delivered in stages, please read this carefully before engaging us. By making a payment you accept this policy.

1. Our approach

We invest time, expertise and resources from the moment a project begins. Our pricing reflects bespoke work performed specifically for you, so refunds are limited as set out below and are assessed on a case-by-case basis in good faith.

2. Deposits

Projects generally require an upfront deposit to reserve capacity and begin work. Deposits are non-refundable, as they cover scheduling, onboarding and initial work that begins immediately.

3. Cancellation by you

You may cancel a project at any time by written notice to support@ansysdigital.com. On cancellation you remain liable for: all work completed up to the cancellation date; any non-cancellable third-party costs already incurred on your behalf; and the non-refundable deposit. Any amounts paid in excess of work performed and costs incurred may, at our discretion, be refunded or credited.

4. Cancellation by us

If we cancel a project for reasons other than your breach or non-payment, we will refund amounts paid for work not yet performed, less any third-party costs already incurred. We are not liable for any further compensation.

5. When refunds apply

Refunds (partial or full, at our reasonable discretion) may be considered only where: we are unable to deliver the agreed service and no acceptable alternative is provided; or a duplicate or erroneous payment was made. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within a reasonable period.

6. When refunds do not apply

  • Deposits and payments for work already performed or milestones already delivered.
  • Change of mind, change in business circumstances, or failure to provide required content, access or approvals.
  • Delays or issues caused by you, third parties, or third-party platforms, themes, apps or services.
  • Dissatisfaction with outcomes that were not part of the agreed, documented scope, or with results such as sales, traffic or rankings, which we do not guarantee.
  • Completed and approved projects, or projects that have gone live.
  • Third-party fees (e.g. Shopify, apps, domains, stock assets), which are non-refundable.

7. Retainers & subscriptions

Ongoing maintenance, support or retainer plans are billed in advance for each period and are non-refundable for the current period. You may cancel future renewals with the notice stated in your plan; cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current period.

8. Chargebacks

If you have a concern, contact us first — we genuinely want to resolve it. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us is a breach of these terms and may result in suspension of services and recovery of costs.

9. How to request

To request a cancellation or refund, email support@ansysdigital.com with your name, project details and the reason. We will acknowledge and respond within a reasonable time.
