Ansys Digital ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what we collect, why, how we use and safeguard it, and the choices and rights you have. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who we are
This website and our services are operated by Manish Prajapati (Ansys), trading as Ansys Digital, based at Ward No-10, Dr. Rajendra Prasad Nagar, Jhinjhak, Uttar Pradesh 209302, India (GSTIN 09CSZPP7741J1ZL). We are the data controller responsible for your personal information. You can contact us any time at support@ansysdigital.com.
2. Information we collect
We only collect what we need to provide and improve our services:
Information you give us
- Contact & enquiry details — name, business email, phone number, company/brand name, and any information you submit through our forms, WhatsApp, email or discovery calls.
- Project information — store URL, platform, product range, revenue band, goals, timelines, and materials you share so we can scope and deliver work.
- Payment details — billing information processed through third-party payment providers; we do not store full card numbers on our systems.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data such as IP address, approximate location/region, browser type, pages viewed, referring URLs and timestamps, collected via cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).
3. How we use your information
- To respond to enquiries, provide quotes and deliver the services you request.
- To manage projects, communicate updates, invoice, and provide support.
- To operate, secure, and improve our website and services.
- To send service-related and, where permitted, marketing communications (which you can opt out of at any time).
- To comply with legal, tax and regulatory obligations, and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
4. Legal bases for processing
Where applicable law (such as the EU/UK GDPR or India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023) requires it, we rely on one or more of the following: your consent; the performance of a contract with you; our legitimate interests in running and growing our business; and compliance with a legal obligation.
7. Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, including to meet legal, accounting, tax or reporting requirements. When no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it.
8. Data security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, update, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to withdraw consent, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any right, email support@ansysdigital.com; we may need to verify your identity before responding.
10. International transfers
We are based in India and our team, systems and service providers process personal data there. If you are located outside India — including in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia or the Gulf — your information will be transferred to and processed in India, which may have data-protection laws that differ from those in your country.
Where such a transfer is subject to the GDPR or UK GDPR, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum where applicable), together with technical and organisational measures designed to give your data an equivalent level of protection. You may request a copy of the relevant safeguards by emailing us.
11. EEA & UK visitors (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we act as a data controller for the personal data you submit through this website, and as a data processor when we handle data inside a client’s store on their instructions.
Our legal bases for processing are: legitimate interests (responding to your enquiry, running and securing our business, and improving our services); performance of a contract (delivering the services you engage us for); consent (optional marketing emails and non-essential cookies, which you may withdraw at any time); and legal obligation (tax, accounting and record-keeping).
You have the right to request access to your data, rectification of inaccurate data, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing. To exercise any right, email support@ansysdigital.com — we respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office).
We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects.
12. US state privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA and similar)
If you are a resident of California — or of another US state with comparable privacy legislation, such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah or Texas — the following applies to the personal information you submit through this website (name, business email, phone number, company, project details, and website usage data).
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not knowingly collect or sell the personal information of anyone under 16. We use the information only to respond to your enquiry, provide the services you request, and operate our website.
Subject to verification, you have the right to know what personal information we hold and how we use it; to request a copy of it; to request correction of inaccurate information; to request deletion; and to limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect sensitive categories through this site). We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
To make a request, email support@ansysdigital.com with the subject line “Privacy request”. We may ask for information to verify your identity, and we respond within 45 days, extendable once where permitted by law. An authorised agent may submit a request on your behalf with written proof of authorisation.
13. Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and individuals aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Third-party links & platforms
Our site and deliverables may link to or rely on third-party websites and platforms (such as Shopify, apps, and payment gateways) which have their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for the content or privacy policies of those third parties.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be posted on this page; your continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
